Reminder – New reporting requirement became effective January 1, 2024.
LLCs and Corporations (including other companies) must report information about their “Beneficial Owners” – the people who own/control the company.
They are required to report to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network – a bureau of the US Department of Treasury.
There are some exemptions but most likely you’ll be required to report.
